A man was stabbed in the stomach in Vaughan on Sunday night during an attempted robbery.

The incident happened on Kimber Crescent near Rutherford and Weston roads around 11:30 p.m.

Police said it was a street-level robbery but told CityNews that the victim isn’t co-operating.

The victim in the hospital and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
