Mayweather vs Pacquiao: The Fight of the Century

It was great to see how Mayweather had more defence and still ended up getting more punches in then Manny could ever get in all 12 rounds. Sadly as great as a fighter is Manny nothing could convince Mayweather to let go of his defence since its the best in the world out their. Mayweather vs Pacquiao would be considered the fight of the century since its been in demand for years to see the two in their primes go head to head.

Manny's punching power

Roy Jones Jr. was excited for the highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. He just doesn’t think a win over Mayweather would elevate his legacy all that much.

Jones Jr., a legendary boxer and current boxing analyst, told Ariel Helwani in a recent edition of The MMA Hour that Mayweather would not be the best of all time if he beats Pacquiao.

“No,” Jones Jr. said. “He’s not the greatest of all time. How are you the greatest of all time, because you’re 50-0? You’re fighting Manny Pacquiao, that’s good. And Manny Pacquiao is a good fighter. If you beat him, it’s tough because they’re gonna say, ‘Why didn’t you fight him in his prime?’ How are you the greatest of all time when you beat a guy that got knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez?” MMA Fighting
