Vic De Zen is an industrialist, real estate developer and entrepreneur with an estimated net worth of $1.1 billion. Vic De Zen founded the legendary Royal Plastics Group company in 1970 and brought the company public in 1994. When the company entered revenues into the hundreds of millions the company in 1997 was renamed to Royal Group Technologies and in that year generated $2 billion per year. three years later De Zen’s own holdings were worth $600 million which was a staggering amount for that time in today’s dollars that would be almost equivalent to $2 billion adjusted to today’s inflation. a large PVC raw-material manufacturer, completed its acquisition to buy out Royal Group on October 3, 2006 for $1.6 billion. He then founded ZZen Group of Companies Ltd. A real estate commercial and industrial building company that was founded in 2002 with a particular emphasis on building commercial and industrial buildings in Vaughan. The Vision Group which is also another new company founded by Vic De Zen is a customer focused, technology driven group of companies focused on the building industry. The company is a privately held corporation and while Royal Group once had sales of $2.3 billion and operations in 65 countries, Vision Group is so far a $400 million company with operations only in Vaughan that will eventually reach sales at the $1 billion mark.
