How Homeless People Use Technology: A Photo Essay On Street Poverty And Consumer Gadgets

It could be easy to assume that those living on the streets of New York City don’t own any gadgets, but that’s not always the case.

Over the course of two weeks last year, we interviewed dozens of homeless people to find out what kind of consumer electronics they own.

From laptops and iPhones, to government-provided phones, it quickly became clear that many homeless people use gadgets to stay connected, search for jobs, and pursue their own creative interests.

It’s amazing how homeless people stay connected in this world, looks like today they are up to date with how the world caters to technology. Aside from all that homeless people do business together on their own terms to make money, they find ways to better their lifestyle and turn new leafs in this world by creating something of their own and going about their own business. Today Everyone wants to change their lives weather technology becomes a part of them or not its peoples free will to want to deliver a future for themselves. And so with that said good for them and good for what they are trying to achieve, this is great admiration coming from someone who really wants to improve on being smart and thinking that way. It’s great to know that others want to improve in themselves and change what they lost and regain something of better potential. It’s good to no that part in life and its great to know that people can do better with hard work and determination. With that in mind going back to connecting threw technology these are some of the ways and sources people looks for better good and technology has improves that course for people to say. Technology has done well for itself and a pat on the back it deserves for that.
