A teenage girl has died after she was shot in Toronto’s Jamestown neighbourhood Thursday morning.
Toronto police confirmed the teen’s death on Twitter and asked the public for information related to the deadly shooting.

The girl has been identified as 14-year-old Lecent Ross, according to CTV News. She was unconscious and not breathing when she was found by police in a townhouse on Jamestown Cresent.
Paramedics performed CPR before transporting her to hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
An investigation remains ongoing.
