Thoughts: This undercard contains one solid bet and one terrific bet: Bang and Ning, respectively.
Tuck is undoubtedly quite skilled, but lacks the wrestling and technical striking prowess to utilize his solid power and quality Brazilian jiu-jitsu. His two UFC victories came over subpar opposition in Tiequan Zhang and Jake Lindsey, while he was totally outclassed in his two losses. Bang figures to have the striking edge and packs plenty of power on his own in addition to solid counter-wrestling. Tuck will likely struggle to impose his grappling, instead being forced to trade on the feet and likely losing the decision there.
Therefore, a decent bet on Bang makes sense.
For a while, Ning was the underdog and I was grinning like the Cheshire Cat once the shrooms kicked in. Alas, it seems people caught on and he’s just above even odds. He’s still an excellent bargain, however. He has the physical ability and Greco-Roman prowess to shut down Wee’s one-note wrestling offense, plus the power to lay him out when he’s forced to trade.

Thoughts: The one line that stands out to me here is Magny — I don’t believe his bout with Lim is the 50/50 toss up these odds suggest. Lim has the sort of power usually described in the obituaries of buffalo victims, but lacks finesse in his boxing and has the tendency to fade as the fight goes along due to being probably the biggest weight cutter at 170 pounds since Anthony Johnson skipped town.
Magny, meanwhile, will have the length advantage and has looked better and better in his striking from fight to fight. Though the possibility of getting starched in one hit is there, I believe he has the skills to pick Lim apart from the outside.
In other words, a moderate bet on Magny works.
