Amy Poehler: 16 Nominations, 0 Wins, Queen Of Our Hearts

Some may be tempted to pity Amy Poehler after she lost the Emmy for Lead Actress in a Comedy to Julia Louis-Dreyfus (“Veep”). And to be fair, this year marked her 16th nomination without a single Emmy win to her name. And on top of that, this was the final season of “Parks and Recreation,” in which she held the starring role as Leslie Knope.

Some may be tempted to pity her, but Amy Poehler is fine. She’s over it. She’s on to better things.

While we would have loved to see the woman behind Leslie Knope (often the most inspirational person on television) get the gold for her role, we’re sure she’s content being a beloved actress, mother, best-selling author, and best friend of Tina Fey.

Also, she gave us the gift of “WE ARE AMY:”

We have no doubt she’ll be just fine.
