Organic by Nature brand sweet peas are being recalled over possible Listeria.

The peas were sold at Costco stores in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced Saturday. Products should be thrown away or returned to the store, the agency said.

Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes might look okay to eat, but can cause vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness. Elderly people, pregnant women, and anyone with a weakened immune system is particularly at risk, the agency said.

There have been no reported illnesses yet.
